Welcome to the Spain Visa Application Centre

The Spanish Consulate General in London is pleased to announce the opening of its Visa Application Centre operated by VFS Global (UK) Limited in London. This service is available to all nationals who are residents in the UK for a minimum of 3 months under the jurisdiction of the Spanish Consulate General in London, who wish to apply for a tourist, business, EU dependant or transit visa to Spain.

If you wish to apply for a visa for Spain, we strongly recommend that you read all of the information on this site. The provided guidelines will help you prepare your application as accurately as possible and minimise any processing delays.


Please note that you must only apply at the London Visa Application Centre if you reside within the areas stated on the following jurisdiction link ,

If you reside in any of the following areas –

Cleveland, Cumbria , Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire

Visa Application Process
Step 1 : Please check the Jurisdiction To Apply page to ascertain if you are eligible to apply at the Spain London Visa Application Centre, and follow the instructions to ensure you are applying at the correct Visa Application Centre for your location. VFS is not permitted to accept applications which fall outside the jurisdiction of the relevant Visa Application Centre.
Step 2 : Please go to the link “Short Term Visa” at top of page to choose the right visa category for you, and read carefully all sections including Documents Required and Processing Time before proceeding with your visa application.
Step 3 : Please complete the Application Form in full, ensure it is signed, print a copy and bring with you when attending for your Visa appointment.
Step 4 : Mandatory - Please Schedule An Appointment at the visa application centre to submit your application. You should submit your visa application no more than 90 days prior to your date of travel.

Please ensure that you print your Appointment Letter and bring it with you when attending the Visa Application Centre.

Please carry the originals and copies of all documents.

All applicants traveling must apply in person.
Step 5 : When arriving at the visa application centre, you will need to show your appointment confirmation letter at reception. You will then be issued a token and directed to the waiting area. You will next be called to our submission counter where your application and supporting documents will be scrutinized, and your photograph and passport checked for validity.

Finally, you will be issued a receipt for the fees and service charge paid as an acknowledgement of the transaction.

Applicants requiring special physical assistance are requested to contact our Helpline prior to visiting our centre so that appropriate support can be offered. Please note that only applicants and carers/assistants will be permitted to enter the Visa Application Centre.

Track Your Application Online
If you have already submitted an application at Spanish Visa Application Centre in London you can track your application here by entering your application reference number from your receipt and your date of birth.

IMPORTANT – Please ensure that you complete and print the online form, check that it is signed by all relevant persons, and bring this with you when attending for your appointment.
